in Pharmaceutical Development of Burroughs
Wellcome India Ltd (GSK) in her career
spanning 22 years.

has an M.Pharm. (Pharmaceutics) from Bombay
University’s prestigious Institute
of Chemical Technology and a UNIDO Certificate
(Specialization in Pharmaceutical Technology)
from the University of Ghent, Belgium.

Sudhir Pilgaonkar, has experience of over
30 years in manufacturing value added specialty
pharmaceutical products. This covered activities
such as manpower management, production
planning, inventory control, safety and
cost reduction in production management.
He has been the Promoter Director of Galentic
(I) Pvt. Ltd. and has had prior experience
in technical functions, Hoechst Pharmaceuticals
(Aventis).
Sudhir has a B.Sc. (Tech.) in Pharmaceutical
Sciences from Bombay University’s

Development Manager – Smith and
Nephew Pharmaceuticals Ltd (U.K.) and
Development Manager – Burroughs
Wellcome (India) Ltd.
Dr.
Rao is a Fellow of the Royal Society of
Chemistry and Member of the British Institute
of Regulatory Affairs and has numerous
patents and publications in the area of
drug delivery systems.
